Mint is a common herb which is used in our cooking preparations. Mint chutney, mint rice, mint paratha and what not! The aroma and taste of mint is simply awesome. It offers several health benefits as well. If you have a cold, you can do steam inhalation with mint. This clears the blocked airways and also helps in expelling phlegm. Mint has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which provides relief from inflammation. Try mint tea for freshness and also to get some relief from dry cough and sore throat. 

Ajwain - the little plant which found a place in our homes during our childhood is loaded with health benefits. Boiling ajwain or carom seeds along with tulsi leaves can provide relief from dry cough and sore throat.
